Well, I finally set aside some time to update my blog.
Here's a little of what we've been up to since the end of summer up to Christmas.
I hope everyone enjoyed the season - we sure did! All the Best for 2007!

Some Fall fun.....

"Helping" rake leaves

Benjamin was a fierce lion for Halloween and when he "roared", I'm sure he scared everyone into giving him candy!

Benjamin learning to skate with Daddy

Here's a bunch of snow pictures; we had RECORD snowfall this year - it was fun!!

These first 2 were taken when it all started, about 9:30pm. It was way past Benjamin's bedtime, but we took him outside anyway and he had a ball! We couldn't get him back inside to go to bed!

Here's the view from our back steps

Some MAJOR icicles! Benjamin enjoyed eating them!

Waiting patiently for the Christmas Parade to start. Brrr....

This snow is soooo deeeeep!!!

Well, we took what looks like may be our last big camping trip for the season (other than a quick weekend away here locally). *Sigh* We're pretty sad about it because that means that our great summer is over......we had so much fun!
Anyway, here are some photos from: Our weekend away with Mike, Natalie & Riley at Monk Park, just outside of Merrit. It was really nice and I think we'd go back again. The big plus: It's only 2-1/2 hours from home! Makes those quick weekend getaways easy!
We did tons of stuff, but some highlights were going to the PNE, Go Bananas, we took the Skytrain Millenium Line downtown and played tourists, had fun at the waterpark with Aunty Teresa (where I got stung by a bee on my big toe! I STILL can't believe it even happened......) and just had some plain old good times in our backyard.
We've had a wonderful summer! Oh - and that nice red mark on Benjamin's chin: he kissed a concrete wall at Grammy's! Ouch!

Here's Benjamin up on the rocks at Monk Park.

Benjamin and Riley goofin' around!

Greg and his kite-flying expertise!

Wheeeeeee! Through the tunnel at the playground.

Here's some more of what we've been up to this summer.
We bought a "new" camper! Well, not new-new, but it's about 20 years newer than ours, so it's definately new to us (it's 7 years old). We took it out on it's maiden voyage with our friends Mike, Natalie and Riley for a week (who, incidentally, took their new camper out for it's maiden voyage also) and it was really fun. We went to Lac La Hache, Juniper Beach and Lac Le Jeune. What I love about it the most is: It has a full bathroom! Yay!!! It also has an oven which rocked when we baked lasagne and brownies! D-Lish!
So there's a whole bunch of pictures from that trip and a whole bunch of others.
Hope everyone's summer has been as fun as ours!

Getting cleaned up (with the outside shower) at Lac La Hache.

We stopped in at my ex-employer Wajax Industries (in the Kamloops office) where Benjamin had his first ride in a real live "digger". He loved it! (yes, that's me driving).

Some water fun with Riley at Juniper Beach.

At Lac Le Jeune; our last stop.

Learnin' about Mooses at the ampitheatre.

I love camping - even if there's a little rain!

The liquid sunshine didn't stop Benjamin and Riley!

Rain, rain, go away....

Boys and their Play-Doh!

Hmmm.... is this water good?

Bedtime....

Look where I sleep!

Our last day....
