Not too much to say, really.......
So I'm sitting here thinking of some brilliant thing(s) to write about and not much of anything is jumping into my head. Hmmm......am I that boring? Maybe. Am I just content? Yup, I am. Is my life that satisfying? Uh-huh, pretty much.
Life is humming along just fine, thank you. Sometimes I wish I had some scandalous stuff to talk about; like someone I know got a nose job (gasp!), or I'm leaving my husband for Brad Pitt because he FINALLY came to his senses and wants a woman with substantial meat on her body. But alas, no such things are happening. Which actually suits me just fine.

Benjamin has been really into dressing up lately. And I honestly never really noticed it. I mean, I notice when he's dresses up (duh!), I just mean that I didn't realize that he likes it so much.

Whenever we have a "dance party" we have to dress up. He wears an old pair of purple suntanning glasses and a string of pearls, and I wear a blue scarf and a straw hat. Such a fashion statement! Then he turns on his cd player and we boogy. For all of about 3 songs. Then costumes are off, he closes up shop, and we're on to something else. But the dance party rocks.
We play doctor alot too, and I am always the patient. I have to lie down on his bedroom floor and he gets me a pillow and a blanket (so I don't get cold during the examination. Perhaps my real doctor could take note of this because that paper sheet just doesn't cut the mustard!). Ben puts on his doctor badge and the exam begins. I am always healthy in the end, and I never have any peas, carrots or chicken (?!?!) in my ears. Whew! I am relieved!

Lately when I ask Ben what he'd like for a snack, he says so casually: Bugs.

Without cracking a smile or even looking up from whatever he's doing. Really, Ben, you want bugs for a snack? Yup, bugs. What kind of bugs? I like spiders, beetles and worms. Hmmm......bugs, you say.
Once I gave him yogurt that had berries in it and I told him they were bugs. WHAAAAAAATTTTTT?!?!!?!?!??!? I DON'T WANT TO EAT BUGS!!!!!
Apparently when bugs are ACTUALLY the snack, everything changes! Once I'd explained that I was just kidding, and the bugs are really berries, life carried on. But sheesh!
Ahhhhh, boys and bugs.......

Do you know what one of my favorite things in the world is? Well I'll ya.
It's cuddling with Ben before bed. He usually asks me to cuddle for a few minutes when he goes to sleep and really, who could resist. I turn on his aquarium (which he still loves and has since he was a baby. It plays for about 5 minutes, so it's perfect for this occasion) and he puts his little arm around my neck and we lay there face to face. We talk about what the favorite part of our day was, and what's in store for tomorrow. It's better than the most beautiful sunset, or the greatest love song, or the warmest hug. I'd give up everything else to have that moment last forever. Really I would.

Ben is a budding photographer....here are a few of his "visions" (of what, I have no idea!). He has his own little digital camera, but prefers ours and very good at using it! He's taken some really nice pictures of Greg and I.
These are both horns (actually one is a flashlight that whistles, but they both make sounds. Guess that's what he was going for?)
Why 3 dinosaurs rate front row when there are 2 more frogs behind is beyond me......quite an army, though!
Ben never misses a chance to have a story read to him.
